Our cabin was quite close from one of the most famous view at Lofoten, so we left our cabin early in the morning with all our stuff and walked there. We hid our backpacks under the hill and hiked up. (really steep hike!). On the top we made the same pictures as thousands people before us. At our way down it started to rain quite a lot, so we were really lucky that we had a nice weather on the top.
Then we spent nice 30 minutes in a warm bus and hiked again. This time to a Kvalvika Beach. The place, where two norwegian guys spent 9 months during winter (!) in a small cabin searching for a perfect wave for surfing.
The cabin looked more like a hobbit house. Good thing about the out-of-season thing was that there were almost no people (just we, one guy from USA and one couple from Czech Republic).
I made my dream come true. I have spent a night in a tent above the polar circle. :-) It was not so cold, but really windy (because of a storm coming next day).
